THE FLOWERING VINE

An old-fashioned flowering vine that is not seen often enough, the Solandra, or Cup of Gold Vine, produces huge, delicately colored flowers, foliage and interesting branches and is well represented in the Artist's Flowering Vine Series.  This example was painted where it was growing, up the wall and through the balcony of the artist's home.
