House Portrait Commissions This cheerful house portrait of the Dysart Residence in the San Fernando Valley, near Los Angeles was commissioned by the children of the owner prior to its sale so that they and their mother could have a memento of their former residence. This house drawing was executed in colored pencil on museum board and was purposely kept soft to evoke memories of that special place they once called home. If you have succeeded in making a home of your house; if you have reached that magical point to where it's now the "home place", then perhaps it's time to immortalize the moment for generations to come and commission a house portrait. |
